HOT ! Rare: Staffordshire Brown Calico Pitcher and Oval Bowl Crownford China Company

Staffordshire brown calico pitcher 24 ounce. Rare oval shaped bowl. This pattern was discontinued in 1960. Brown transferware. The Oval bowl is 9 3/4 inches X 7 1/4 inches and 2 inches high. Pitcher is 5 1/4 inches tall. 6 inches wide. A very pretty set that you can use together or separately. There\'s a back stamp on each piece that reads Crownford China Company Incorporated. Staffordshire England. Calico #23. Both the pitcher and bowl are free of any breakage. No chips, necks or cracks. I note there is a little crazing from age only on the bottom of each piece. Only flaw is a little worn area. See my photo with pen pointing to it, on the Oval Bowl edge from age and wear. This does not deter from the beauty of this vintage piece. Non smoking pet free home.
